Back door of the church. The very heart of our stay in Ukraine, i will remember this entryway more than even the room we slept in, and i can't even begin to explain why it still impacts me so. But here it is in all its curious splendor.

We walked around this park almost every day, and yet i have only a few pictures of it. I blame sleeplessness.

I don't know what this is, but it seems to be fermenting rather nicely. Possesses a uniquely subtle odor.

Biodiesel equipment. Plummeting fuel prices have rendered this equipment useless. They are now looking to sell the machines and the storage tanks, as they do not expect biodiesel to be a viable business for them any longer. That’s Wayne Zschech, by the way. G’day!

Pyrolysis machinery. This is the foreseeable future for Kaharlyk. Once testing is complete and everything figured out, this will be able to convert food and plant waste into usable fuel that can be used for heating or operating machinery such as generators.

The Grinder. For chewing up whatever garbage will need to be reduced to a workable size for pyrolysis. Be careful, Wayne!

Half of the cricket field. For some reason i don't have a picture of the other half. But it looks very similar to this. It is a good chunk of land.

Center field on the... i don't know, pitching mound? I know nothing of cricket, and we did not get to see it in action. Perhaps next time.

Trouble at the cricket field! Thinking at first that the nearby builders were stealing power, a phone call confirmed that they did in fact have permission. They just had some trouble getting the door to the power box open.
